Out of Office 2022

Bloody hell. It’s been a year. It’s a cliche’ but seriously, a YEAR.

I want to write the lists of achievements and f’learnings (yes, I stole/borrowed that word and it is a word from the Wordfetti legends). But I think I will write a grateful list. Once again a cliche’ and the most overused word of 2022, but I’m doing it.

Thank you to the artists that have entrusted me with their work. I feel humbled that I get to be in a space filled with so much talent, joy and optimism. Ruth Bond, Jane Ramsey, Theresa Hayes, Rosie Iron, thank you beyond!

Another humble thank you to the amazingly talented Hobbs Building + Interiors team. The guidance, patience and [organisational] inspiration has been a stand out success for my year. I love nothing more than escaping to the mountains each week.

My clients that entrust me with their brand and vision, thank you. Thank you Plannery Co + Greer Plumbing + Stradbroke Island Coastal Homes + Sip seriously thank you. And thank you to every single person, customer and friend who has supported the studio and my painting.

2022, has been the first time in 15 years that all my favourite humans are at school. I have felt remotely more myself and have pockets of time that I had forgotten existed.
