my fortnightly favourites

The first of my favourites for the week is of course, all about me! I will get it over and done with. But one of my pieces The Lookout (a close up featuring above, once again of course) is now half price. I arrived at the studio this morning and realised how hard it has been lately. Not just with recovery post the pandemic, but it really feels a bit shit. Is it seriously March already and the inertia of time feels unrelenting.

I really do struggle with the concept of time. When the moments feel too fast and then all of a sudden its the same day of the week, but only a week later. That you start a school term with your littles and within a blink and another restless nights sleep with a six year old its the Easter holidays ahead.

Anyway, I wanted to spread some intentional love and virtual hugs with the gift of half price art and in the hope that once this piece finds its new home it releases the joy I felt in creating it.

things that have made me smile

I must be the only one coming to the party late, but my discovery of Sophie Hansen is one of pure joy, happiness and peace. Seriously her instagram with her calm voice and her clear but ‘normal’ instructions are joy wrapped up in the socials.

peggy sue has arrived at the STUDIO

This has been a long time coming and a long time sourcing, intentional and Australian owned incense. This was the initial product that I found from this gorgeous (and very quickly growing) female founded brand. The smell in the studio can not be described, it is pure joy to be surrounded by the scents, the styling and the branding of Peggy Sue Co.

PODCASTS IN MY CAR

I am needing all the recommendations with several shoots booked in regional NSW in the next month (think a 6 hour drive, so send them all through).

A recent podcast that impacted me was the listenable interview with Alex Noble. I was besotted from start to finish, I can NOT get over Alex’s age, maturity and the way he carries himself, his articulation and honesty is beyond belief. What a job his parents have done! Well worth more than a listen.

LIMITED EDITION PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS

Coming in hot are the new limited edition photographic prints, More to come on these in the next fortnight, but you can order them online now before the price increase. All prints are signed, numbered and framed. The Collections are slowly being loaded, but I am very proud of how things are looking.

Sending love + intention, Elle x
